As FromSoftware’s awaited title, Elden Ring is gradually approaching its release, and there is a new update regarding the game’s rating.
According to the latest reports, Elden Ring now officially has a Mature rating because of a strong fantasy theme. Plus, there will be a lot of violence as well in the upcoming AAA title.
‘Elden Ring’ rating: What to expect?
After getting the Mature rating in Korea, Elden Ring has now received an 18+ rating in Australia as well. Of course, it’s due to the fact that the game will have a very intense, violent plot.
Talking about the game’s rating in Korea, then it is similar to the Mature rating in the US by ESRB.
The newly revealed Elden Ring rating is comparatively in line with past FromSoftware projects. Dark Souls II has been the only exception, as it had a T rating.
So far, the trailer for the upcoming title has revealed that it will have a bloody combat style and gameplay. Thus, the present rating is not a surprise for anyone.
Interestingly, whenever a new IP receives the rating, it usually means that it’s close to the release. And thus, it can be implied that Elden Ring is nearing its completion.
For the fans who can’t wait to know more about the game, there is a live stream coming on October 16. PlayStation Japan will host the ‘Play! Play! Play!’ session featuring Dragon Quest X Offline, Elden Ring, and Horizon Forbidden West.
Popular Virtual YouTube Dennou Shojo Siro will discuss many things about the game with the host Hatsune Matsushima.
