Ellen DeGeneres was recently accused of being a bully and a mean girl to some of her guests on Ellen Show.
Six years ago, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone came to the Ellen Show to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2. During their guesting, Ellen DeGeneres asked the co-stars if they were dating.
Ellen DeGeneres forced Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield to confirm their relationship
Back then, Garfield and Stone were keeping their relationship a secret from fans. However, some of their supporters couldn’t help but notice their wonderful chemistry.
DeGeneres forced Garfield and Stone to confirm their relationship, but they refused to say anything. Jamie Foxx, who was also on Ellen Show then urged the comedian to drop the topic.
Ellen DeGeneres forgot to introduce Psy on ‘Ellen Show’
In 2012, K-pop artist Psy came on to Ellen Show to promote and perform his single, Gangnam Style. DeGeneres and Britney Spears joined him on stage.
DeGeneres asked Psy to teach Spears the steps to his hit single. But at one point in the clip, the Korean artist stopped teaching Spears to introduce himself to the audience. After all, DeGeneres seemingly forgot to introduce him to those watching at the studio and home.
Mariah Carey calls ‘Ellen Show’ interview ‘extremely uncomfortable’
Earlier this week, DeGeneres’ controversial interview with Mariah Carey resurfaced after the award-winning singer admitted that she was uncomfortable during her appearance on Ellen Show.
In 2008, reports swirled that Carey and her ex-husband, Nick Cannon were expecting their first child together. Ellen DeGeneres wanted the Hero singer to confirm her pregnancy on the show so she forced Carey to spill the news.
When Carey refused to say anything, DeGeneres urged her to drink champagne. Since pregnant women cannot drink alcohol, Carey’s refusal to drink would’ve indirectly confirmed her pregnancy.
While speaking with Vulture, Carey said that she was extremely uncomfortable during that moment on Ellen Show.
“And I really have had a hard time grappling with the aftermath. I wasn’t ready to tell anyone because I had had a miscarriage. I don’t want to throw anyone that’s already being thrown under any proverbial bus, but I didn’t enjoy that moment,” she said.
Portia de Rossi’s wife needs to make some changes
According to Gossip Cop, some of DeGeneres’ controversial interviews with her guests were attempts at humor.
“But just because someone is trying to be funny or entertaining doesn’t mean that they are exempt from criticism or accusations of rudeness. It does sometimes feel as if DeGeneres, in an attempt to get the scoop on celebrity gossip, goes a little too far at times,” the rumor-debunking site said.
However, this doesn’t mean Ellen DeGeneres is cold-hearted and cruel as the claimed. Still, changing her behavior may go a long way for the funny woman.
