Ellen DeGeneres is developing three new projects amid rumors that her talk show, Ellen Show is up for a possible cancelation.
According to Daily Mail, Ellen DeGeneres signed Sarah Hyland, Ellie Kemper, and Tiffany Haddish to the Ellen Digital Network, which was launched in 2016. The three new shows are, reportedly, DeGeneres’ joint venture with Warner Bros. Digital Networks.
Modern Family alum Sarah Hyland will headline the Lady Parts alongside OB-GYN Dr. Sheryl A. Ross. The show and the doctor will talk to celebrity guests about sex, health, and anatomy related topics.
Kemper will headline Help Me Gen Z, where she will be talking to Generation Z’s to get their perspective on a wide range of topics. However, it is still unclear what Haddish’s new show will be all about.
And the premiere for Lady Parts and Help Me Gen Z have yet to be announced.
Ellen Show cancelation rumors
In recent months, there have been claims that Ellen Show could go off the air following a series of complaints about DeGeneres.
Three months ago, a slew of individuals who have encountered the comedian reportedly exposed her for being mean.
Ellen DeGeneres allegedly looking for a replacement
There are also claims suggesting that Ellen DeGeneres is looking for a host replacement on the Ellen Show. Some of the names making rounds include Kemper, Neil Patrick Harris, Kevin Hart, Chrissy Teigen, and Kristen Bell.
The speculations surrounding the cancelation of the Ellen Show intensified after the show’s ratings, reportedly, plummeted. DeGeneres has been doing her talk show from her home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Ellen DeGeneres starring in Fixer Upper type of show?
National Enquirer claimed that DeGeneres would be headlining a new show that will revolve around one of her passions. However, there are no concrete pieces of evidence to confirm that these hearsays are correct.
“Ellen’s been approached by TV producers about doing a new ‘Flip or Flop’ or ‘Fixer Upper’-type show. Given the flak Ellen’s received recently – and to reinforce her giving nature – she’s going to reinforce her giving nature – she’s going to be flipping the homes of people who have suffered terrible tragedies and flopping them into their dream homes!” the source said.
As of late, Ellen DeGeneres has not yet responded to the reports about her new show. And the host hasn’t reacted to the rumors that she’s a mean girl.
