Corinne Olympios previously shared her negative experience while guesting on The Ellen Show with host Ellen DeGeneres.
The Bachelor star exposed the dirt on the comedian even before a slew of people called Ellen DeGeneres a mean girl.
Corinne Olympios said ‘Ellen Show’ guesting was uncomfortable
In 2018, Olympios told The Morning Toast hosts Jackie and Claudia Oshry that DeGeneres made her feel uncomfortable. The reality TV star also said that Portia de Rossi’s wife was very aggressive and cold.
“I love Ellen so much, I thought I would be, like, talking to Dory and I was really excited and she made me so uncomfortable, unfortunately. I kept this in for so long, but to be honest, she just made me a little uncomfortable,” Olympios said.
Ellen DeGeneres, Corinne Olympios awkward encounter backstage
The reality TV star also revealed that she bumped into DeGeneres backstage before the interview. And the staff that saw the encounter seemingly became nervous. Olympios realized that she wasn’t supposed to bump into DeGeneres, but she did.
Following her shocking revelations about DeGeneres, Olympios said that she still loves the funny woman.
Ellen DeGeneres ‘mean girl’ criticisms
Earlier this year, a lot of people exposed DeGeneres for reportedly being mean, cold, and demeaning. The allegations against the talk show host resurfaced in March after comedian Kevin T. Porter posted a cryptic tweet.
Porter asked his followers and those who have negative experiences with DeGeneres to share their story on his social media account. Several people came forward back then.
Months later, DeGeneres’ former bodyguard, Tom Majercak told Fox News that the celebrity was rude because she ignored him. Her wife, on the other hand, was quite friendly towards Majercak.
‘Ellen Show’ reportedly has a toxic work environment
More recently, 10 former employees on the Ellen Show told BuzzFeed News that there’s a toxic work environment on the set of the daytime program. Some of the employees revealed that there was even racism on set.
After the publication released their story on DeGeneres, Olympios commented on an Instagram post regarding the comedian’s alleged behavior.
“I told y’all,” the reality TV star wrote.
Executive producers issue an apology
Immediately after, The Ellen Show executive producers Andy Lassner, Mary Connelly, and Ed Glavin apologized to the staff who didn’t have particularly positive experiences while working on the program.
“We are truly heartbroken and sorry to learn that even one person in our production family has had a negative experience. It’s not who we are and not who we strive to be, and not the mission Ellen DeGeneres has set for us,” they said.
