The publication said that a lot of critics noticed how drained and stressed the comedian looked back then. But she still carried on with her hosting gig.

“There is something wrong here. Why is Ellen so, so blurry? Can’t she afford a decent camera? Or is that just a cut and paste job?” one person tweeted.

“I got real-life issues and, in a crisis, right now and I’m not interested in this,” another person wrote.

In the photo, DeGeneres is wearing a peach sweater and jeans. Her legs are crossed on the couch, and she has a glum look on her face.

“I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it,” she said.

However, News.co.au is also wondering if Ellen DeGeneres will be able to address the issues surrounding the show and herself properly.

‘Ellen Show’ employees complained, received more perks

Months ago, ten former Ellen Show employees told BuzzFeed News about their grueling experiences on the set of the talk show and some of its producers. Following their complaints, Portia de Rossi’s wife issued an apology to her former staff and current employees.

After an internal meeting, it was also announced that the staff of Ellen Show will be receiving more perks like birthday and bereavement leaves.

But even though DeGeneres has already the controversy surrounding Ellen Show, she has not yet addressed the complaints directed at her. For instance, she was previously accused of being a mean girl and a bully.

Steve Harvey defends his pal

After months of countless criticisms, one of DeGeneres’ good friends in the industry, Steve Harvey came to her defense. He said that the comedian doesn’t have any racist tendencies. He also said that DeGeneres is kind.

“I’m going to say this about it: Ellen DeGeneres, the person that I know, that I’ve known for a number of years, that I saw back in the comedy club days when we used to split time with the same management, all of this and what’s happening now, Ellen, the person, is probably one of the coolest and kindest people I’ve met in this business,” he said.
