Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery have been married for 13 years already. However, their marriage has been plagued with divorce rumors with one tabloid alleging that they are separating. However, the divorce rumors are not true at all.
OK! magazine published a report claiming that Ellen Pompeo’s marriage to Chris Ivery had hit rock bottom. Their romance was allegedly “coming to an end.”
“The truth is, they grew apart and have seemingly been living separate lives for a while,” a so-called insider said.
The outlet adds that while the news may shock Pompeo’s fans, those who know the couple already saw it coming.
“Chris and Ellen were an odd match from the start,” the dubious source said.
“There has been talk Chris has had issues with Ellen’s success, and with her career. Whenever she had a sexy scene with a costar, Chris would come on set and hover.”
The tabloid claimed that if Ellen Pompeo and her husband separated, it would be worth almost a hundred million.
“There’s a lot at stake. Together Ellen and Chris are reportedly worth around $85 million,” the tipster said.
Also, the Grey’s Anatomy star’s three children are reportedly only the reason that keeps the couple “nice” with one another.
“Ellen and Chris may be going through growing pains right now, but they’re devoted to their kids. No matter what happens, they’re committed to co-parenting,” the insider added.
Gossip Cop reached out to Ellen Pompeo’s camp, who denied the allegations. The narrative about the actress splitting up with her husband for 13 years is not true.
Also, a week ago, there were photos of Pompeo walking with her husband. Both are wearing matching white tops, black Adidas bottoms, and black masks. Apparently, they are still together.
On Monday, Daily Mail also spotted the Law & Order star with Ivery and their 3-year-old son, Eli Christopher. The trio was taking a stroll near their home in Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles.
Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, post each other’s photos on social media. They don’t post it regularly, but they occasionally do.
In February, Ivery greeted his wife on Valentine’s Day. He paid a sweet tribute to the actress and even called her his Valentine.
“Happy Valentines Day [heart] to my Beautiful Valentine,” he wrote on Instagram.
Meanwhile, back in July 2019, Pompeo shared a video of Ivery and sweetly called him “mine.”
“He mine [heart] clearly I have too much free time on my hands @stla_official @sergiotacchini_official @chrisjivery @juneambrose photocredit music is on point,” she wrote in the caption.
