Several former Ellen Show employees revealed that there’s a toxic work environment on the set of the daytime program.

Toxic work environment allegations on ‘Ellen Show’ confirmed

Weeks after Warner Bros. conducted an investigation. They sent an email to Ellen Show staff. The email revealed that they have found that some of the complaints were true. However, not all the allegations have been corroborated.

“We are disappointed that the primary findings of the investigation indicated some deficiencies related to the show’s day-to-day management,” the email read.

However, it is unlikely for Ellen DeGeneres to be directly involved in the changes. According to her wife, Portia de Rossi, the comedian will return to host the program next month.

Before de Rossi’s confirmation, rumors were claiming that DeGeneres could quit her hosting gig. Some people claimed that it would be difficult for the funny woman to recover from the recent criticisms.

Some tabloids have also been claiming that DeGeneres is looking for a celebrity that could replace her as the host on Ellen Show. And some of the names being thrown around include Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Bell, Kevin Hart, James Corden, and more.

Ellen DeGeneres not as nice as she seems

Last weekend, DeGeneres was slammed by a former contestant on Ellen Show. Dana Dimatteo previously participated in the Make It Rain segment on the program.

She said that before the cameras started rolling, the producers of Ellen Show told her and the other contestants that they shouldn’t be funnier than DeGeneres.

During the segment, de Rossi’s wife also laughed with the contestants. But the minute the cameras stopped rolling, DeGeneres also stopped interacting with them.

Following the segment, they were asked to stay backstage but weren’t given any towels to dry themselves. Overall, Dimatteo said that she didn’t have a wonderful time on the program. And she’s not the only one.

Another person claimed that DeGeneres pushed a staff’s head into a bowl of hot soup because she was upset with him. However, DeGeneres hasn’t responded to the claims.

The comedian hasn’t also apologized for the things that may have happened outside Ellen Show.
