Elon Musk finally commented on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s fiasco, where he was accused of having an affair with the latter.
Elon Musk has been mentioned many times in the on-going court libel battle that Johnny Depp filed against the British publication The Sun.
The illicit affair allegations against Elon Musk
The Tesla founder’s name was dropped a number of times in the hearings at London’s High Court because he is being accused of having an affair with Heard.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor testified in court that his ex-wife and Musk were seeing each other while they were still married.
To back this claim up, the actor’s legal team released footage that shows the American billionaire hugging Heard in the elevator.
There were also witnesses who told the court that Elon Musk often visited Heard in the penthouse home she shared with Depp. They said that the visits usually happened when the 57-year-old actor is out of the country or on trips.
Text messages that were supposedly exchanged between Musk and Heard in 2016 were presented to the court as evidence.
The challenge to a caged fight
In his recent interview, Elon Musk finally broke his silence on the allegations hurled against him. He firmly denied that he had an affair with Heard.
“I definitely was not having an affair with Amber while she was married to Johnny, this is totally false,” he told The New York Times.
He insisted that he and Heard only started dating when she and Depp have broken up already.
When asked to comment on Depp calling him “Mollusk” in court, he laughed and said, “Well, yeah, I hope he recovers from this situation.”
The topic about Depp’s text message to him where the actor, allegedly, told him he would “slice off his d**k,” the tech billionaire jokingly told the publication, “If Johnny wants a cage fight, just let me know.”
Elon Musk went on dismissed the claims that he engaged in group sex with Heard and the 27-year-old model Cara Delevingne.
“We did not have the threesome, you know,” he said. “So I think people think these things are generally more salacious than they are.”
Advice to Depp and Heard
Finally, the billionaire offered advice to Johhny Depp and Amber Heard. He told the former couple to just “bury the hatchet and move on.”
Elon Musk and Heard’s relationship was scrutinized as it became a major part of the libel case that is currently being heard in London’s High Court.
Depp filed a case against the tabloid The Sun after it labeled him as a wife-beater.
