With his persistent accumulation of money, the SpaceX founder is on his way to becoming the world’s first trillionaire, according to a recent estimate by a Morgan Stanley analyst.
This prediction was made by the UberFacts Twitter account. In an amusing response to the tweet, the Tesla CEO stated he would be a Dogecoin trillionaire. He sent the Dogecoin price skyrocketing once more with that response.
Wealthiest man alive
Musk is currently the wealthiest person on the planet, surpassing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is in second place.
Musk has a net worth of $252 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index ranks the world’s wealthiest persons on a daily basis.
The tech mogul announced in July that he owned Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ether.
Musk’s net worth has risen dramatically as a result of Tesla’s stock price rising steadily over the months. The company’s stock hit a new high above $900 per share on Friday.
He is worth more than the whole Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of New Zealand, his current net worth shows.
Pumping Doge up
Musk’s mention of Dogecoin in the tweet prompted the coin’s price to rise over 6% in less than an hour, just like in his previous tweets. Dogecoin is now trading at $0.247 at the time of writing.
Musk has always shared Dogecoin-related memes and is frequently weighing in on the meme coin.
In May, Musk revealed that the company would launch a moon expedition funded by Dogecoin next year.
He claims that this is the first time cryptocurrency has been utilized in space, as well as the first time a meme has been deployed in such a region.
