Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth are, allegedly, hanging by a thread.
Just two months before Hemsworth and Pataky celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, there are claims that they are thinking about getting a divorce.
According to Life & Style, the couple can’t agree on anything. And they have, allegedly, been fighting over their living arrangements and Hemsworth’s acting career.
“They’ve been doing their best to cling onto their marriage, but they’ve been having problems for years. And lately, those problems are getting worse,” a source said.
Elsa Pataky feels isolated in Byron Bay
The insider also claimed doesn’t enjoy living in Byron Bay because she feels isolated there. And if she had her way, she would love to spend half the year with her family in Spain.
Pataky, allegedly, misses her family a lot, but she can’t tell her husband about it because Hemsworth refuses to talk about such things. All the actor, allegedly, cares about is his career.
“She calls him selfish, but he doesn’t seem to get it. She’s mostly given up her career for the sake of their family and can’t help feeling their relationship is one-sided at times. Date nights rarely exist. And Chris Hemsworth seems more interested in lining up his next big Hollywood project than organizing romantic surprises for Elsa,” the source said.
Chris Hemsworth lashes out at his wife
Hemsworth also, allegedly, lashes out at his wife. And in order to blow off steam, he goes surfing for hours.
“Chris will disappear for hours and go surfing. Elsa often feels trapped at home. There’s no denying Chris loves Elsa, but they’ve been together so long, they’re both stuck in their ways. It’s sad,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Hemsworth and Pataky aren’t having problems in their marriage. It seems that the tabloid is preying on the couple after Pataky said that their marriage isn’t perfect.
Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth always working on their marriage
While speaking with the Australian magazine body+soul, the actress said that she and her husband are always working on their marriage.
“It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way. It’s been ups and downs, and we still keep working at the relationship,” she said.
Pataky also said that she and Chris Hemsworth are both aware that relationships need constant work, and it’s not always going to be easy.
