Elton John violated a non-disclosure agreement with ex-wife: rumor

Elton John could, allegedly, face his ex-wife, Renate Blauel, in court after he violated their non-disclosure agreement.

According to Woman’s Day, Blauel is enraged after reading her ex-husband’s memoir, Me last year. Elton John and Blauel, allegedly, signed a non-disclosure agreement, which meant that the singer could not mention his ex-wife in the book. However, no concrete pieces of evidence can confirm that these hearsays are correct as of this writing.

“She didn’t see the book before publication. She got the wind of it and said, ‘Make sure, please, that I’m not in it.’ She didn’t want to be made to look like a fool. As far as I’m aware, she sent warnings about the book. Maybe they never got shown to Elton, but the book came out and she was in it, and so here we are,” an unnamed source said, as per Woman’s Day.

The insider also said that John and his camp wouldn’t want to go to court. After all, Blauel could expose a lot of dirt on the “Candle in the Wind” singer.

Luckily for John, his ex-wife is, allegedly, willing to settle things amicably. However, the singer still needs to deal with his friends, who are, allegedly, enraged with what he revealed about them.

“It’s good that someone takes him to the task. No one else has been brave enough,” the source said.

However, an unnamed spokesperson for John, allegedly, said that the singer is standing by everything that’s written in his book.

Elton, Renate Blauel’s divorce

Elton John and Blauel were married for four years. They got engaged after dating for just 18 months. Following their split, the singer admitted that he hurt his ex-wife’s feelings. John is now married to David Furnish.

“I’d broken the heart of someone I loved and who loved me unconditionally, someone I couldn’t find fault in any way. Despite all the pain, there was no acrimony involved at all. For years afterward, whenever something happened to me, the press would turn up on her doorstep, looking for her to dish the dirt, and she never, ever has,” John wrote in his memoir.

Elton John also revealed that after he had kids, he invited Blauel to Woodside, but the latter refused. The singer said that he didn’t push the issue because he knows that he should respect how his ex-wife feels.
