If you’re looking for a souls-like game to add to your collection, then you may want to check out Remnant: From the Ashes.
It has been a generous year for Epic Games as they are giving away more free games starting next week.
Satisfying gun-slinging at your fingertips
Souls-like games have been around for quite some time. Games such as Dark Souls, Nioh and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice made lasting impressions among hardcore players. Epic Games may be in the right direction to making one of the most underrated games free.
Remnant: From the Ashes is a gun-slinging action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic universe in which earth has been taken over by creatures called the Root. The campaign takes around 9 to 12 hours to complete depending on your experience with dungeon crawlers.
What makes this different from the usual hack-and-slash souls-like games is that this focuses more on guns plus dodging enemies, and bosses take the game to a whole new challenge.
Gunfights that are worth replaying
In Remnant: From the Ashes, the player is taken to randomly generated dungeons quite similar to Dead Cells. Once players complete the campaign, they are taken to other game modes such as Adventure Mode and Survival Mode.
Adventure Mode is where players grind for better items for their current build while Survival Mode immerses players into fighting hordes of enemies and bosses.
In addition, they also teased their final DLC for this title should you decide to get the game.
