Around 54 females trained for the Creation Mission. However, the ten lowest-ranked girls from each group were removed before the final performance.
Mnet revealed the third mission, Creation Mission, in Episode 8 of Girls Planet 999. The 54 females will practice together, but those removed will not be able to perform on stage.
New music and choreography were written just for the mission. The first song was Alawn’s U+Me=Love, inspired by SuperM’s 100, and Anna Timgren’s Dun Dun Dance, which was inspired by Oh My Girl’s Dun Dun Dance. It’s a solid and feminine dance in an energetic electro-pop tune.
The second song, Shoot, was written by E.one, who previously wrote IZ*ONE’s Sequence, and the signal song O.O.O. Shoot is a synth-pop track with a vintage feel.
The mysterious and robust moombahton song Snake was created by Wanna One’s Beautiful producers Tenzo and EB.
The strong and fresh Utopia was created by Yoske, who is well known for Astro’s Always You. Utopia is a fast-paced pop dance tune. These songs were created by voting for new teams to perform.
Teams from the Creation Mission
Yujin was the team’s leader. Because many of the females had poor ranks, they lacked confidence. No one wanted to take either the lead vocal or the murdering roles. Even though it was her first time, Yujin took on the lead vocal role.
Doah was the killer for Team U+Me=Love, while Jiwon was the stooge. MC Jingoo had warned the females that some of them might be removed later, so they should have backup proxy places. Ayoung praised Jiwon during training and claimed she was suited for the killing phase.
Team Utopia had the majority of the primary singers. Bora was the band’s leader and primary singer, with Reina serving as a stand-in for Bora.
Dayeon and Cai Bing both wanted to be leaders. Thus Team Snake had leadership problems. Team Salute did not wish to Cai Bing from the previous assignment.
The two contenders agreed to take turns leading for a day, after which the females would vote. Team 2, which Cai was in charge of, made little progress. Dayeon’s squad was doing better. Thus she was promoted to team leader.
The eliminations, round 2
MC Jingoo then started the elimination phase. Each country’s lowest ten ranking females would be eliminated. Only the top eight members of each group will live.

Three females would get a Planet Pass, resulting in 27 girls surviving in the end. The number seven position was revealed first. It was Fu Yaning from the C group who had completed Itzy’s final assignment, dubbed MAFIA.
Ruan, who had survived a Planet Pass the previous round, was #7 in the J group. Jiwon and Bora, both from the Cherry Bullet K-pop group, were the #7 candidates. Bora was ranked #7.
Hsin Wei, a C girl who performed Ice Cream, was ranked #6. The J girl, Ririka, was also on the same squad. Even the K girl, Myah, was a member of Team Ice Cream.
Manami, from the J group, was #5 and rapped the song We Are. Youngeun, a K girl, was the killer at 2PM’s song My House. Wen Zhe, who had previously been rescued from the Planet Pass, was the #5 of the C group.
Cai Bing, the C female, was the commander and had the murdering role in Team Salute. Shana, the J girl, was a singer who had not won the previous assignment. Yeseo was the K girl who was a dancer and had the murdering role.
Hikaru was the third member of the J group, Mashiro was the second, and Yurina was the first. Xingqiao was #3 in the C group, Su Ruiqi was #2, and Xiaoting was #1. Dayeon was the third member of the K group, Chaehyun was the second, and Yujin was the first. The top three-nation groups from the previous round kept their positions.
