Respawn Entertainment has been on a tear when it comes to additional content for Apex Legends. Now, we finally have an idea of what’s to come for Apex Legends Season 7 when it launches a few days from now.
Apex Legends Season 7 is set to go live on Nov. 5. Players are excited to see what’s next for the game in the season dubbed, as Ascension. We already have a shortlist of what’s to come in the game. Here’s everything confirmed so far.
Horizon is the next Legend coming to the games. She hails from Olympus and she has a rather tragic backstory. As per her story trailer, she was betrayed by her close ally as she was about to save Olympus. Despite being inside a black hole for a short time, time passed by quickly on her home. When she returned, Olympus was destroyed and her son was already dead.
We’ve yet to know how her skills will play out in the game. According to rumors, she’ll be focused mainly on gravity. However, we’ll see most of her skills once the new gameplay trailer arrives later.
Apex Legends Season 7 will be getting a new map in the form of Olympus. This will be a destroyed city in the game. Respawn Entertainment teases that the map will have a huge hole at the center which could be fatal to the players. Hence, they can use this to their advantage as they try to push other players into this area.
Vehicles are also making their way into the game. As per Respawn Entertainment, the new map is going to be large. As such, exploring it via a new vehicle called the Trident will be the preferred method to travel. The entire squad perfectly fits inside the Trident.
Respawn Entertainment will also be adding Clubs to the game. According to the developers, players will be able to form these clubs and play with each other as well. Simply put, players can find others who enjoy the game the same way as them through Clubs.
Apex Legends Season 7 is sure to add a ton of amazing new features to the battle royale. Aside from this, players can also expect a generous battle pass filled with many items and cosmetics for players to collect. Just a few more days and we’ll see what these changes are.
