Fall Guys is a smash hit right out of the bat, and it’s easily one of the top battle royales out there. What makes it even better is that it is being supported by a developer that listens to the community.
Although the overall experience has been great so far, fans have been having concerns regarding Fall Guys. The game’s social media accounts have been acting in documenting the changes that players want to be applied. As such, the most recent update made some much-needed changes to the game.
New update now out
In a recent tweet, the developers quickly detailed all of the changes in the recent update for the game. The update that was sneakily launched is sure to make players happy as it addresses most of the issues that players have with the game.
We just stealthily made a few changes to the game 👀
S N E A K Y
U P D A T E👌 Valve costumes will now be available in the store on PS4
👌 Max player count for Fall Mountain is now 15
👌 Team Tail Tag and Royal Fumble timer is now 1:30
👌 No more back to back team games— Fall Guys 4041 🤖 SOON (@FallGuysGame) August 20, 2020
For starters, the Valve costumes will now also become available for PlayStation 4 players. One of these costumes is the Scout from Team Fortress 2. Any incoming Valve costumes will most likely become a part of the game as well.
Moreover, the max count for players in Fall Mountain will now become 15. Players have commented that the map gets too overcrowded at times, making it very difficult to win. With the reduced player count, it might now become a lot easier to beat.
Tweaks to more games
The sneaky Fall Guys update also adjusts some of the games that players have issues with. Team Tail Tag and Royal Fumble now last 1:30. Players have commented that these games last too long and can feel tiring. It’s also worth noting that the developers also lessened the frequency of Royal Fumble as being the last game in another update.
The update also ensures that back-to-back team games will now be impossible. Players hate team games because their victory is based not only on others but also because they take longer to finish. The changes hopefully do enough to ensure that players won’t feel burned out when participating in team games.
Some players have even commented that there should be a mode that removes team games entirely, but we’ve yet to see if this will be added to the game.
The recent update to Fall Guys may be small, but it’s going to make a lot of needed changes that players have long been asking for. There’s sure to be more along the way from the developers.
