‘Evil Dead: The Game’ revealed, first gameplay is coming!

Saber Interactive just announced the upcoming Evil Dead entry in the franchise. And It will be called Evil Dead: The Game.

The maiden reveal came via the official Twitter account of Evil Dead: The Game. Its exclusive gameplay is arriving on Thursday.

‘Evil Dead: The Game’ early details

“Ash’s little sister is back for revenge,” read the post on Twitter of the yet-to-launch horror title.

As you can see in the tweet above, Cheryl Williams is presented as the main character.

Moreover, it will reveal the first gameplay footage for Evil Dead: The Game on Thursday during Summer Game Fest. There will be a full trailer.

Originally announced last year during the Game Awards, the title will bring many characters into the story. They are also related to Ash.

Players will be able to enjoy a multiplayer experience on PC and other consoles.

However, before the just-made reveal, there was no further detail available since 2020. But now it’s almost here with its trailer.

Talking about the gameplay, then the character of Cheryl Williams will appear in multiplayer mode. She is Ash’s younger sister and has emerged in the franchise’s many past entries.

She made her debut in the Evil Dead film and then made her way in Ash vs. Evil Dead‘s second season.

Apart from Cheryl, players will also receive Kandarian Demon as a playable character. He will try to devour the souls of Ash and his allies in the PvP fights.

Furthermore, Kandarian will also have solid abilities, straight from the movies. They will include possessing Deadites and other survivors.

More games coming in 2021

While the fans are waiting for the Evil Dead title, most gaming enthusiasts are also looking forward to other fresh releases.

Speaking of the most-awaited potential blockbusters, then there is Halo Infinite, STALKER 2, and Far Cry 6.

Horizon Forbidden West, a new Call of Duty entry, Psychonauts 2, Dying Light 2, and GhostWire: Tokyo are also on the list.

However, the line-up extends even further with Deathloop, New World, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.

Back 4 Blood, Shadow Warrior 3, Cyber Shadow, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and No More Heroes 3 are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced projects making a debut soon are Glitchpunk, The Day Before, and Etched Memories.

Coming back to Evil Dead: The Game, again, it will launch in 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
