Facebook Oculus to soon get VR based ads


Facebook Oculus is about to launch VR-based ads. Facebook has begun to try to place ads on its Oculus virtual reality (VR) headsets.

One of the top social media companies, Facebook, tries to initiate a new technique to place advertisements on its Oculus virtual reality headsets. Facebook will start putting ads in Oculus Quest apps – It will expand them based on user feedback.

The company’s about to launch ads based on Virtual Reality. Facebook has begun to try to place ads on its Oculus virtual reality (VR) headsets. In an announcement on Wednesday, the company announced that the system would be launched by Resolution Games’ Blaston and other developers in the coming weeks.

Facebook announced last month that it is testing ads on the Oculus mobile app, providing developers with a new way to view their VR apps. “We are very pleased to see the following phase of this research: a portable headset advertising test,” the social media post said. This is currently a test for certain applications. Facebook said it would provide more detailed information about providing ads on the Oculus platform and Oculus mobile apps.

“Adding ads to the Oculus platform will not change our privacy or advertising policies,” the company said. -We will not use any locally stored and processed information on your headset for ad targeting.

The processing and storage of information on the device mean that it will not leave your headset to reach Facebook’s servers, so it cannot be used for advertising.

“There are reports that Facebook currently has nearly 10,000 employees, which is almost one-fifth of the total workforce. The augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) laboratory clearly shows that social networks rely heavily on immersive technology.

Headphone shipments in 2020 will increase by 9% (year-on-year). According to a new report, Oculus also dominates the top five list of XR devices, and all three headphones on the list are from Oculus.
