The internet has gone mad after rumors suggesting that Big Hero 6 might arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the coming future.
Several well-known scoopers at DisInsider just reported about a possible Big Hero 6 entry in the MCU. However, there are no accurate details regarding such rumors and speculations. But die-hard followers of the character are already celebrating on social media.
Fans react to rumors on Big Hero 6 in MCU
The character’s major appearance was in the form of its solo animation film back in 2014. Although it was by Marvel, it was only loosely based on the comics. In a way, it wasn’t connected in any way with the MCU at all.
But now that the rumor train has begun to start, Big Hero 6 might end up making its way into the most prominent cinematic franchise. The live-action debut will surely thrill many people who love the robotic character.
Big Hero 6, in the Marvel comics, was created by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau.
Interestingly, just earlier this month, Kevin Feige said something regarding Southeast Asian characters in the MCU. He said that people wouldn’t have to wait longer to see them on the big screen. Because there are upcoming shows based on them, coming soon.
“I think it is. And I think you won’t have to wait there very long at all.”
“We’ve announced several shows, and we’ve got more in the works.”

Daily reminder that the original concept of Big Hero 6 was basically Japan’s Avengers. They’ve since become an all ages thing about a giant robot and his friends in costumes. Do this version live action or nothing. pic.twitter.com/hEDG9oMU8U

New projects coming in the franchise
Apart from bringing Southeast Asian heroes, the cinematic universe also adds more content for its viewers. Yes, there is a pandemic to deal with, but Marvel Studios is trying to keep going with productions.
WandaVision has begun the releasing streak with the new year, and Marvel will try to keep it going. Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the next big title coming next month. Then there are movies like Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals.
Moving further, there will be a lot of Disney Plus TV shows to witness. Some of the highly anticipated names are Loki, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Secret Invasion, She-Hulk, and Wakanda-based series.
When it comes to the most-awaited movies, all eyes will be on phase five and beyond because it will reveal Fantastic Four’s debut and the sequel to 2018’s Black Panther.
Speaking of Big Hero 6 then currently, there’s no further information about its MCU future. The wait is the only thing to do at the moment while hoping for a great result eventually.
