‘Far Cry 6’ has Leap of Death ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Easter egg

It may sound weird at first, but Far Cry 6 players have found an interesting Assassin’s Creed Easter egg that ultimately kills them!

Far Cry 6 players recently discovered an iconic Assassin’s Creed reference in Ubisoft’s latest open-world game. However, this easter egg unexpectedly kills them if they try to perform it.

“Leap of Death” easter egg in ‘Far Cry 6’

In what can be aptly termed as a Leap of Death instead of the famous Leap of Faith, an Assassin’s Creed Easter egg has shocked the Far Cry 6 players. It’s because the easter egg somehow ends up killing them when they perform it.

Simply put, the newest reference is leading players to their death in the recently released Ubisoft title under the Far Cry franchise.

As everyone knows, Assassin’s Creed is quite famous with all the fans who grew up playing various entries in the stealth series. Thus, everyone is familiar with the iconic Leap of Faith that has been present in almost every Assassin’s Creed game.

While performing it, the main character dives flips, and then safely lands in a pile of hay no matter what the height is.

In the latest Assassin’s Creed installment, Valhalla, Eivor learns this skill and then masters it as well.

However, it seems like no one taught Dani Rojas, the protagonist in Far Cry 6, how to deal with this specific move. Maybe that’s why the character is getting killed upon doing it.

At one specific point in Far Cry 6, players find themselves on a ledge with a pile of hay beneath them. Then they hear an eagle screech in the background (quite obviously). For any Assassin’s Creed fan, this is a signal to perform the Leap of Faith.

But those who are playing as Dani Rojas in Far Cry 6 couldn’t handle this easter egg at all. So, they ended up jumping to their death instead.

Well, there is a basic reason for why it’s happening.

Dani Rojas is technically not an Assassin, and that’s why the Leap of Faith doesn’t work in the Far Cry game.

Ubisoft could’ve implemented it nicely, but somehow it didn’t do that.

How’s the new ‘Far Cry’ doing?

Meanwhile, the new entry in the violent open-world franchise is performing quite well in terms of its sales, especially when it comes to the UK boxed sales chart.

Last week, Far Cry 6 made its debut in the second position on the UK chart among other heavyweights. Unfortunately, it couldn’t beat FIFA 22 as the EA Sports title took the top spot for the week ending October 9, 2021.

Far Cry 6 is now available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Google Stadia.
