‘FIFA 20’ releases updates for Bundesliga Team of the Season

Fans of FIFA 20 will receive new updates for the Bundesliga Team of the Season, with one player getting massive upgrades.

EA Sports regularly releases updates for most of its games. The latest to receive one is FIFA 20, particularly the Bundesliga Team of the Season. This is a welcome update as Bundesliga becomes the first European league to reopen its season following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Right off the bat, a number of players are getting upgrades. There are also a handful of surprise packages for new players.

The boosts

When FIFA 20 hit the stores last year, there are only a handful of players with an overall above 90. Since then, there were several updates and upgrades. However, the Team of the Season update is what brings the most boosts.

The latest player to have a 99 rating is Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. Of the game’s six attributes for shooting, Lewandowski maxes all four of them. The striker also receives double-digit boosts for his vitality, strength, and stamina.

These boosts also come at a steep price. Lewandowski cards are now about 70 times its base value. For those who cannot afford it, there are still a handful of Lewandowski base cards.

Another player that is set to receive quite a boost is Erling Braut Haaland. Upon the release of FIFA 20, Haaland plays for RB Salzburg and is a silver card with a rating of 73. The latest Team of the Season update gives him more than 22 additional points.

Haaland now plays as a striker for Borussia Dortmund. By far, he receives the most boost points since the original release of FIFA 20 in September 2019.

 Diamonds on the market

The latest set of boosts that the update brings will make the market more engaging. As more players are getting boosts, it will also change their value. This makes balancing the budget a little trickier.

Trades and loans are fundamental mechanics in FIFA 20. Playing the market well will give gamers the best player value without costing them too much.

As of this writing, Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky is the cheapest player on the block with a 90+ rating. His excellent rating and cheap market value make him an interesting trade piece for many players.

The latest update from FIFA 20 is certainly changing the game’s landscape. Fans of Bundesliga will surely appreciate this latest update.
