Some of which from the likes of popular IPs, such as Final Fantasy VII, Hunter X Hunter, Naruto, etc.
With literally one’s imagination as a limitation, it’s no wonder the community has become inundated with more and more costumes. But that’s literally no excuse for one not to exercise his own creative freedom—which is a good thing.
If anything, New Horizons is indeed all about that.
Coming from a fanboy who loved the Borderlands series, here is a set of costumes derived from the franchise.
Credits to a Twitter user, Logan Calloway, for his amazing creations.
Being two of the franchise’s important NPCs, the name Scooter and Claptrap are a staple on the first and second Borderlands game.
Mimicking Scooter’s usual gear as a costume, particularly his cap, is simple enough. But to make a costume out of Claptrap? Now that is something that requires more than just a copying skill, but creativity as well.
There is a lot of interesting characters featured in the Tales from the Borderlands. But nothing really garners genuine interest than the game’s two protagonists, Fiona and Rhys.
Fans of the franchise could never forget two of the series’ most deadly damsels, Maya and Athena—a Siren and an ex-Assassin.
The series is known for its quirks. Of those worthy of note, however, Tiny Tina and the Doppelganger, Timothy Lawrence, make an outstanding presence.
No true Borderlands fan would ever overlook Angel due to her critical role in the game. As for Gaige, her most distinguishable presence is perhaps how overpowered she was upon release.
What do you get when you pair together two of the series’ Atlas employees in New Horizons? Nothing else but their costumes, of course.
If you ever feel like sticking true to the persona behind the name, though, you’d want to go exclusively Haiku with Zer0’s costume.
