‘Filter’ by BTS Jimin makes history in Spotify once again

ARMY trend Filter Record Maker on Twitter after Jimin’s track became number one on iTunes in 114 countries!

In February 2020, Jimin debuted his solo single Filter as part of BTS’ fourth K-pop studio album, Map of the Soul: 7. There are numerous sub-unit and individual singles that the lads collaborated on and performed on the album, which has a total of 20 tracks. Even a year later, Filter continues to set and break records. It has topped the iTunes charts in a number of nations.

Filter has reached #1 on iTunes Worldwide in 114 countries as of August 30. The newest country to join the list was Venezuela, which aided Jimin’s track in breaking the record.

It is also the first BTS song to reach number one in Venezuela and the third-highest ranking BTS single worldwide on iTunes. Filter is also the second-highest solo charting song in iTunes history, and the fourth-highest charting song worldwide on iTunes.

Jimin’s song Filter is now available on iTunes and Spotify

Furthermore, Filter has extended its reign as the highest-charting solo single by a BTS member, breaking its own record. The Latin-pop hit is also the only B-side music on iTunes Worldwide to reach this milestone.

Furthermore, Filter has received over 193 million Spotify streams. Meanwhile, the album Map of the Soul: 7 has received over 3.258 billion Spotify streams.

‘Filter’ will always have a special place in the ARMYs hearts

It appears that Filter holds a particular place in ARMY’s heart since it also made Jimin the first K-pop artist to have three songs with 100 million Spotify streams.

Lie, and Serendipity is the first two. He is also the fastest K-pop male artist to accomplish this milestone, with his song Filter being the only K-pop solo single to do so without a music video.

Jimin’s SoundCloud, in addition to Filter, garnered headlines. Last Christmas, BTS released the mixtape song Christmas Love on SoundCloud. It currently has 35 million streams on the platform.

He seemed to be having a fantastic day, as he even set a personal record on Instagram. Jimin’s third concept shot for Butter has received 9 million likes on Instagram, making it his first post to do so.

Filter record creator is a term used to describe a person who creates records.
To rejoice and congratulate Jimin, ARMY decided to make the hashtags FILTER RECORD MAKER and #FilterByJimin114Win trend globally on Twitter.
