The BTS Pro Series Grand Finals ended in a one-sided victory for professional Dota 2 team Fnatic as they dominated TNC Predator 3-0.
Fnatic breezed by the group stages without so much as losing a single series earning them the top spot with a standing of seven wins and no losses.
Meanwhile, things did not go so well for TNC Predator as they struggled throughout the group stage to finish in fourth place with a record of 4-3.
TNC Predator’s rough journey would only continue with them losing the Upper Bracket Finals to Fnatic 2-0. Fortunately, the Philippine-based team rallied in the Lower Bracket Finals to overcome Geek Fam in a 2-0 series.
The two South-East Asian behemoths would then face-off again in the Dota 2 BTS Pro Series Grand Finals for a chance to take home US$21,000 [AU$32,548].

Game 1
Fnatic set the tone early with a lopsided first game to kick off the series. Fnatic’s Kam “Moon” Boon Seng went with a surprise Batrider pick that he used to crush the middle lane while Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s Alchemist went largely uncontested.
This allowed 23savage to farm to his heart’s content leading to an overpowered Alchemist that TNC Predator just could not deal with. Game 1 would end in a mere 22 minutes with Fnatic securing the victory 14-3.
It's an extremely quick win to @FNATIC off of the back of Alchemist as they go 1-0 up against @TNCPredator in the #BTSProSeries SEA Grand Final! Game 2 up next – enjoy some highlights while waiting! #Dota2

Game 2
TNC Predator put up a valiant effort during the second match as Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios’ Morphling and Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte’s Silencer both impressively dominated their respective lanes. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough to close out game two.
Fnatic’s supporting cast gave 23savage more than enough space to farm all the gold he needed to make his Phantom Assassin unstoppable.
With a perfect 15/0/9 game, 23savage lead Fnatic to the second win of the series 19-27 as TNC Predator called it quits halfway through the 37-minute mark.
It's suddenly tournament point for @FNATIC as 23savage's 15/0/9 Phantom Assassin cuts deep through Game 2! Can @TNCPredator get back into this Grand Final? #Dota2 #BTSProSeries

Game 3
The final game felt a lot like the first one with Fnatic controlling the pace and completely dominating the laning phase. Djardel Jicko B. “DJ” Mampusti’s incredible performance as a position four Elder Titan allowed his cores to close out the match with minimal resistance.
DJ with the Triple Kill as @FNATIC take control of this Grand Final with zero hesitation – is there anything in the tank for @TNCPredator!? #dota2 #BTSProSeries

TNC Predator seemed completely out of sync as they struggled with all three lanes and were unable to get the space they needed to farm up their carries. Fnatic took the last game in the Grand Finals 25-6 with TNC Predator making the “GG” call just before the 30-minute mark.
Being crowned the champions of the BTS Pro Series makes it the second major tournament that Fnatic has won this year. Just last month, they took home first place in DOTA Summit 12 where they walked away with $60,500 in prize money.
