What to expect
The Marvel Super Cup follows similar rules to the previous Fortnite Marvel Super Cups. The game will determine winners through a point-based system. Duos partners would need to earn 55 points in order to get first place.
During the first round, each duo would get to play 10 games for three whole hours, accumulating points throughout the process. The total number of eliminations and overall placement in games would determine the points given to each duo.
At the end of the first round, the majority of the players will get booted off. The number of players that get to advance will depend on the regions they come from. The NA East, NA West, Europe, and Brazil will each have 1,000 players advance to the second round. For Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, they’ll each have 500 players advance through.
Rewards distribution & schedule
Each regional tournament will have its own share of the $1 million prize pool. However, the amount will differ based on the density and popularity of a region. Depending on the region, the first placers could get around $2,000 to $4,000 while the last placers can get $400 to $600.
The Fortnite $1 Million Marvel Super Cup will start at 1:00 PM EST or 10:00 AM PT for the European regional tournament. This will be followed by the North American tournaments at 5:00 PM EST. Broadcasting will start only during the second round on the official Fortnite YouTube and Twitch channels.
