Now might be the right time to be Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users. Microsoft is giving out a series of time-limited free-to-play games, including Gears 5.
Microsoft is here to help out the Xbox users to get through the dullness of being stuck at home amid the home quarantine period. They’re allowing their famous game titles to be freely played but for a limited time only.
However, this will only be available for the Xbox Live Gold users, and those Xbox Game Pass Ultimate holders.
So if you’ve been half-hearted to join before, this is a great time to do so. Not only is Microsoft allowing free-to-play access, but they are also offering big discounts for their avid members.
Four free Xbox One games this weekend
For this weekend, Microsoft is generous enough to give out the following game titles for free;
- Gears 5
- Hitman: The Complete First Season
- Override: Mech City Brawl
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
Gears 5 has been free to play for the entire week until April 12. The free-to-play access also includes the game’s latest updates. And after the free pass, if you’d decide to own a copy of the game, you can do so for a discounted price of $29.99.
As of this writing, the discount offer is only available for three more days. On the other hand, Xbox users can upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and only pay $1 for the first month to continue what they’ve started with Gears 5.
Free Override: Mech City Brawl and Hitman until Monday
Meanwhile, game titles, Override: Mech City Brawl and Hitman: The Complete First Season, are free to play until April 13 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET.
If you liked controlling gigantic robots and battling out online in the mech brawler universe, Microsoft is offering the game for 85% off. Continue the adventure for only $4.49.
Take note that the Override discount offer is only available for three more days. Unfortunately, the Hitman game title has no discount offered, so make use of its free-to-play limited access while you can.
Free The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited until Tuesday
Moreover, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited free-to-play access has two days extension after the weekend. The award-winning online multiplayer RPG is up for free play until April 14 at 12AM PT / 3AM ET.
Just like Gears 5, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has been free all week. Nevertheless, there’s still a lot of time to hop on and enjoy the game at no cost.
To continue playing, Xbox users can buy The Elder Scrolls Online for 60% off. Hurry up, though, as the offer expires in two days.
It looks like Microsoft will be doing this for a while, considering the isolated state that most of the consumers are in. It’ll help with their sales, while the company helps the community to fight boredom.
