Lance Bass joins a slew of celebrities who were speaking about Britney Spears’ conservatory battle.
Following a wave of criticisms he received after addressing her longtime friend’s ongoing legal case, the former NSYNC member is now knowledgeable about the pop princess’ status.

In his recent interview with ET’s Katie Krause, the 41-year-old singer turned tv producer shared that he is comfortable with the Baby One More Time hitmaker’s situation. Now that he has spoken to her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
He also mentioned that the Zoey 101 actress assured him that the Disney alum is being taken care of and has her full support.
“The one thing that I do know is, I know Jamie Lynn…If Jamie is OK with everything going on, I feel like she really has her sister’s back during all this. So I trust her to give us the real information.”
Furthermore, Bass pointed out that the public should not be worried and have to “trust” the people around her.
“I hope everyone figures out exactly what is happening in her life. I do believe that things are settling the way they should be…There’s a judge in charge of all this, so we really need to just trust the judge in the situation and know that things will work out for the best.”
In the end, the former boy band member, who is a vocal #FreeBritney supporter, says he’s “very open to finding out what’s going on” but insisted that the fans should be confident that her family and the court knows what is best for the pop star.

In August, Bass gave his stance regarding the Toxic singer’s 12-year conservatorship.
It came after rumors circulated in the social media that Spears is being held captive by her family, especially his father, Jaime, who’s her legal guardian.
In one episode of his own podcast, “The Daily Popcast,” he mentioned that he is distancing himself from the issue; however, he shared that he thinks his longtime friend “got some problems.”
“I don’t know what she’s going through, I don’t know exactly what her diagnoses are, but online these videos are definitely out of character for her.”
The former NSYNC member and Britney Spears have been friends since their reign in the music industry back in the late ’90s.
Multiple reports previously cited that Bass came out to Britney in 2004 during her iconic Las Vegas wedding to her ex, Jason Alexander.
