Friends cast is worried that their reunion special will flop while some are concerned about their looks, according to a tabloid.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lids Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matte LeBlanc are reuniting once again for Friends reunion special. However, according to an outlet, some of them are worried that their reunion special will not be enough to please the fans.
‘Friends’ cast allegedly having serious anxiety
National Enquirer is raising some concerns among fans of the 90s sitcom, with some of the cast allegedly feeling uncertain how their reunion will fare, especially when it comes to their looks.
“There’s some serious anxiety, especially knowing they’ll be judged on their looks,” the source said. “Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and definitely Matthew Perry have struggled with the aging process and they’re camera shy these days for that reason.”
Aside from their concerns about their appearance, the show will not be scripted, and they will not be in character for the majority of the show. The unscripted nature has reportedly made the actors feeling uncomfortable. The format allegedly made them uneasy because most of them have no experience in that.
The outlet also noted that they fear that the show will flop.
Rumor debunked
Gossip Cop examined the report and questioned the insiders because they sounded suspicious at best. First, there is no proof that the Friends cast was worried about their upcoming special.
The claim that they are concerned about their looks is highly offensive and baseless. Also, all of them are far from “camera shy” in contrast to what the article implies. The majority of them. have made several on-camera appearances in the past years.
Also, the six sitcom co-stars have lived busy lives, but they remain connected. The insiders did not even bother to mention that Lisa Kudrow is often seen with her co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox.
For instance, in September 2020, the trio had a mini-reunion during the Emmy Awards. Kimmel shared a short clip of them together on Twitter.
Kimmel checked on Aniston to make sure that she made it home because she was nominated for Best Actress for her role on The Morning Show. Also, they shared the stage earlier that night because Aniston was among the presenters. But she left home before her category was announced.
Aniston was seen with a fire extinguisher during the event after Kimmel, who hosted the show, jokingly sprayed an envelope and lit it to clean it from potential coronavirus. It kept burning, so Aniston had to get the fire extinguisher and blast it five times to put out the flame.
