Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow have provided updates about their upcoming reunion special on HBO Max.
The American sitcom television series Friends has engraved its success in the entertainment industry. During its 10-year run time, the show has maintained exceptional ratings. However, the sitcom had to end after airing a total of 10 seasons in 2004.

Recently, Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, who played Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay respectively, dropped updates about their forthcoming reunion. Speaking to Variety regarding the HBO Max special, Aniston revealed:
“We know it’s not scripted.”
Furthermore, the two divulged that they will not put on their old characters and do a new version of the sitcom. Instead, they will surprise devotees with an afresh set-up.

Lisa Kudrow shared personal insights about Friends
In the same interview, Aniston and Kudrow have also reminisced about their past experiences during Friends’ run. Kudrow further talked about the hard work she had invested in the show for 10 years.
In addition, the star shared that the commitment that all of the cast imposed was the reason behind Friends’ success and eminence. Kudrow also got personal about why it took her so long to get back to TV following the run of their sitcom.
Kudrow stated in the same interview:
“I have a commitment issue since Friends, to be honest with you. I think part of me died, I can’t do that again.”
Lisa Kudrow previously revealed details about reunion special
This was not the first time that Lisa Kudrow unveiled some exciting details about their upcoming get-together. When asked about the reunion special, the actress previously told Sunday Times:
“We will reminisce, talk about what was going on behind the scenes. It’s not us playing our characters. It’s six of us coming together for the first time in I don’t know how long.”
With this at hand, she shared that she’s looking forward to filming the special.

Friends’ special reunion has adjusted its filming schedule just like other forthcoming titles due to the pandemic. The show was originally slated to start shooting in late March. However, it will now commence after summer.
Moreover, the special will feature all six Friends cast, namely Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courteney Cox), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Ross (David Schwimmer).
