G-Dragon did not let the day pass on November 4 without greeting his best friend and fellow BIGBANG member T.O.P on his birthday.
G-Dragon uploaded a photo on his Instagram of him and his best friend, T.O.P, while captioning it with a sweet purple heart.
The image seems taken in 2016 considering their hair color during the group’s Last Dance promotions.
T.O.P turned 33 years old this year. The BIGBANG member’s real name is Choi Seung Hyun, and he is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, singer, record producer, and actor.
Before joining the record label YG Entertainment, he performed as an underground rapper.
In 2006 he debuted as the lead rapper for the boy band BIGBANG. The group then became Asia’s one of the best-selling groups of all-time. Also, the best-selling boy bands in the world.
T.O.P solo career
During the group’s hiatus in 2010, T.O.P and G-Dragon collaborated to release the album GD & TOP. T.O.P has released two digital singles as a solo rapper: Turn It Up (2010) and Doom Dada (2013). The tracks, in the Gaon Digital Chart, peaked at numbers two and four, respectively.
In 2007, T.O.P made his acting debut through the TV series I Am Sam, followed by the 2009 series Iris and Nineteen’s TV movie in 2009.
He also garnered awards from his excellent portrayals in films. In 2014, he received the New Asian Actor of the Year award at the Busan International Film Festival and Tazza: The Hidden Card.
The comeback of the one and only G-Dragon
The South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, and fashion designer, G-Dragon, recently made waves on the social media platforms with his comeback news.
As divulged by media sources, YG Entertainment told YTN Star that G-Dragon works for his comeback. Another source shared that the singer is currently going back and forth between the studio in YG Entertainment. Also in YGX, and at The Black Label.
Fans were in a frenzy after hearing the news. A fan said, “Finally, Gdragon is back to save the K-pop industry again.” While another fan expressed, “OKAY MOVE EVERYONE THE KING IS COMING BACK.”
