Samsung has launched the Galaxy Book Flex 5G as the first Intel 5G laptop. The new device is the first to arrive with Intel’s 11th generation processors.
While it is the first 5G laptop from Samsung, the processor is much more interesting.
According to Intel vice president, Chris Walker, the 11th gen Tiger Lake processor is unmatched when it comes to power efficiency. This makes it the perfect option for lightweight devices such as laptops.
Walker said that the Intel-based platform has no compromises when it comes to battery life. The new processor brings to life excellent performance, great connectivity options without sacrificing screen time.
The Galaxy Book Flex 5G comes with either an Intel Core-i5 or Core-i7 processor. The lightweight device comes in at only 1.26kgs with a “royal silver” colorway.
Users may configure the device to have up to 16GB of memory and up to 512GB of NVMe storage.
However, there is only one display option. This Galaxy Book only comes in a 13.3-inch full HD 1080p display.
Other features include a built-in S-pen and a backlit keyboard. A new 13-megapixel “world-facing” is located on the front for clearer video calls.
These specs are perfect for students or workers who are always on the go. Samsung and Intel intend this device to be the go-to productivity device.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 5G is fairly new. But based on the specs, it can easily compete with other brands. Unfortunately, pricing remains undisclosed.
