The Samsung Galaxy M51 has plenty of hardware components worth pointing out, aside from the massive 7,000mAh battery, such as its quad-camera setup and its 32MP selfie shooter.
Samsung’s Galaxy M51 has finally been confirmed and is official. It is now available for pre-order, albeit only via Samsung’s German website.
After weeks of leaks and rumors, Samsung’s Galaxy M51 has finally gone official. Over the last few days, the phone had been teased by several tipsters, and now, the company has finally made the device official.
Galaxy M51 specs review
Before you visit the Samsung website and order a new smartphone, you might want to check the specs and features this phone can offer you.
One of Samsung’s new campaigns when promoting the Galaxy M51 is its 7000mAh battery capacity. This groundbreaking spec has been confirmed through a new listing on Samsung Germany’s online store.
In addition to its generous batt size, this mid-range mobile device from Samsung also comes with a quad-camera setup and its 32MP selfie shooter. The camera feature is not bad for a mid-range smartphone coming from one of the tech giants.
The new Samsung phone packs 128GB of expandable storage. It also boasts 6GB of RAM, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display, and an octa-core processor. However, the latter spec remains unmentioned in Samsung’s promotional material but should be none other than the Snapdragon 730 / 730G SoC.
Despite earlier expectations, this new mid-range mobile device doesn’t ship with one UI 2.5 or even one UI 2.1/2.0. Instead, it runs One UI Core, i.e., a stripped-down version of One UI designed primarily for lower-end phones, as reported by SamMobile.
However, the Galaxy M51 comes in Night Camera mode, which might also include Hyperlapse and Pro Mode. and should be capable of fully charging in around 2 hours via a 25W fast charging device.
Price, Pre-order, and Availability
The Galaxy M51 is now available for pre-order in Germany for €360.01 (about $429). Samsung’s site says that it expects the phone to start shipping on September 11th.
It’s also expected to hit shelves in India and other countries the soonest. Amazon India released a teaser suggesting that it will launch very soon on that platform.
At €360.01, the Galaxy M51 has a very similar asking price to the Galaxy A51 in Germany, but it sounds like it might be the better option if you need every hour of battery life.
