The Galaxy M51 will have a Snapdragon 730 chipset, and there’s an accompanying image confirming the selfie camera is going to be in a centrally-placed punch hole.
A week ago, Samsung India announced the launch of Galaxy M51, the “Meanest Monster Smartphone” ever. However, there is no other information besides the name of the upcoming device.
Mo-B, a fluffy green monster from Hollywood, came to the forefront of the poster from Samsung. It challenged the Galaxy M51 to emerge as the meanest monster ever.
We immediately knew this wasn’t just another mega launch by Samsung. It’s a face-off, a battle for the title of the “Meanest Monster Ever.” We hear there will be four face-offs between Mo-B and M51, where the former has challenged the device’s basis for the following features – battery, display, camera, and processor.
Galaxy M51 launch date
The South Korean tech giant is set to launch the Galaxy M51 in India later this week. The launch event for the upcoming monster device is set to take place on Sept. 10 at 12:00 pm.
However, as reported by Money Control, the Galaxy M51 is already listed on Amazon India. The listing provides us with several key specs for the smartphone.
Specs, Features, and Functions
According to the Amazon listing, the Galaxy A51 will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC. If this happens, this device will be the first smartphone in the Galaxy M series to use a Snapdragon 7 series chipset.
In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 730G is significantly faster compared to the Exynos 9611 on the Galaxy M31s, M31, and M21.
In addition to the chipset, the listing also confirmed that the Galaxy M51 would have an industry-leading 7,000 mAh battery capacity. It will also boast a 25W charging adapter, which will be included in the box. Samsung says it has an “India-first 7,000 mAh battery” on its smartphones.
On the other hand, the Google Play Console listing for the Galaxy M51 also shows some information about the phone. It says the launch is fast approaching as the development enters its final stages.
The listing also confirmed that the Samsung phone would have up to 8GB of RAM and a Full HD+ screen. Android 10 runs out of the box.
While we adore Mo-B and his naughty smile, we think Samsung Galaxy M51 will be hard to beat. Thanks to its outstanding features of long-lasting battery, top-class AMOLED Infinity-O display, and segment-leading 64MP Quad Camera.
