Samsung hit the jackpot with the Galaxy Tab S7. The pre-order for the new tablet sold out in 24 hours. That is in South Korea at least.
The Galaxy Tab S7 is the latest tablet series from Samsung. It is not available in distribution yet but the feedback is quite overwhelming.
Samsung did a pre-order period for three days. But within 24 hours, the tablet has sold out.
The tablet pre-orders are arriving next week. Online availability still varies. But, Samsung has reported that it is working on making the tablet available everywhere.
Significant performance bump and great features
The main driver of sales is possible the huge performance jump from the previous generation.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S7 is 2.5 times faster than its predecessor. Plus, several reviews prove that the new tablet is an iPad Pro contender.
For a quick recap, the new tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+. Variants start with 6GB/128GB RAM and storage options. The top of the line has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Basically, Samsung has thrown all of the flagship smartphone features into this device. 120Hz screen? Great battery life? This device has it.
However, Samsung Dex is one of the best reasons to get this device.
This makes the tablet work like a Windows device. Multitasking is a breeze plus it can handle a lot of apps at once.
There is also a taskbar and a “start” menu added into Dex mode. It is also accessible in just a single tap.
The only downside is the optimization of Android apps. There is no progress in terms of app optimization yet. But hopefully, Android tablets will work smoothly as iPads. It is just a quirk that the Galaxy Tab S7 needs to live up today.
