The Realme X50 Pro Player, which is also tipped to feature quad rear cameras, is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC.
Another Realme X50 Pro flagship just got caught on the horizon. This time around, the phone will be gaming-focused.
A Realme gaming phone
Codenamed as the Blade Runner, the now-confirmed X50 Pro Player (Edition) is already slated to be announced on May 25. According to the Weibo post in which the phone was teased initially, the upcoming device will be a “speed king,” which is said to boast “impressive performance.”
Now, while the specs of the X50 Pro Player variant have not been outed by the rumor mill, it is very much tipped that the phone could provide a seamless gaming experience to the Realme fans.
As per the latest image that also comes with the post, it can be seen that the X50 Pro Player will launch with the quad-rear camera setup. Also, a takeaway is how the system is vertically aligned on the upper-left section of the back panel. The rear end of the device also appears to feature a gradient silver finish. At this point, however, there is no word yet about the key specifications of the handset.
AnTuTu listing
A recent report by Gizmochina revealed that the purported X50 Pro Player edition could have just been listed on AnTuTu. The phone, which bears the model number RMX2072, generated an impressive score of 600,806 points. The publication shared that the output could be a derivative of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset.
Meanwhile, the same phone was also spotted on the 3C certification website. This specific listing outed the phone’s support for 65W fast wired charging.
A Realme X50 Pro doppelganger
In terms of design, the X50 Pro Player is pegged to resemble the Realme X50 Pro. Announced in February 2020, the phone features a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. Its display also packs a 90Hz refresh rate and is HDR10+-compliant. The phone’s front panel is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Another highlight on the vanilla X50 Pro’s display is its pill-shaped cutout, which houses dual cameras. Expect this feature to debut on the Player Edition as well.
The Realme X50 Pro also features a massive 4,200mAh battery, in-display fingerprint reader, and UFS 3.0 storage.
The unveiling of the X50 Pro Player variant on May 25th will also coincide with the announcement of a Realme TV, a Realme Watch, and TWS earphones. Realme is also scheduled to unveil two Realme X3 smartphones.
