CD Projekt Red’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably one of the most anticipated titles launching this year. With the release drawing close, the developers are further showcasing their game.
The Night City Wire stream from CD Projekt Red shows us all there is to expect from Cyberpunk 2077. Just recently, the developers held another stream which focused on Night City itself. In the most recent episode, we got a look at the gangs that are ruling the streets of Night City.
Maelstrom
The Maelstroms are street gangs that focus mainly on upgrading themselves with Cybernetic body parts. This makes them a formidable foe when it comes to fights, so players should be careful when going up against this gang. They are one of the more prominent gangs in the city, and players should steer clear of them as much as possible.
Valentinos
The Valentinos are a special gang in Night City, but not much has been known about them. They have strict values and are comprised of Hispanic members. Despite their facade, they are one of the most notorious gangs in Cyberpunk 2077.
6th Street
The 6th Street gang is rivals with the Valentinos. This gang wants to wipe out the Valentinos completely. Members of this gang are mostly skilled in driving and melee combat.
Vodoo Boys
The Voodoo Boys are the most skilled Netrunners in the city. They are one of the more techy groups, and players will find themselves interacting with the Voodoo Boys when it comes to infiltrating the cyberworld.
Animals
Animals are about body modifications that make the natural human a superhuman. When it comes to sheer fighting prowess and physical strength, it’s the Animals that always have the upper hand.
Tiger Claws
The Tiger Claws are Asian gangs in the game. They use traditional martial arts weapons which make them very dangerous when it comes to melee combat. When facing the Tiger Claws, players are best staying out of their range.
Moxes
The Moxes are a gang that’s responsible for the bars and clubs in Night City. They are not powerful when it comes to firepower, but they make up for it in connections and influence.
There are also the Wraiths and the Altercados. Both gangs reside outside the city. Cyberpunk 2077 launches for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this November 19. Next-gen platforms will also release at some other date.
