Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 is coming to an end in a few days and Garena might have revealed next season’s details a little early.
Call of Duty: Mobile Radioactive Agent is nearing its finale. Activision finally released the Smoke Bomber class for its Battle Royale mode and the highly awaited Gulag map.
However, there might be another case of a social media slip up with Garena already promoting the Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 posters.
Next season’s details
Based on the game’s Monthly Login calendar, there are only two days left for Season 7. This goes in sync with Garena’s Instagram post promoting the Season 8 Battle Pass that’ll arrive this Friday, July 10—a day after the season 7 finale.
What’s even more surprising is that next season’s Battle Pass will be giving away four new operators, instead of the usual two.
Furthermore, per Dexerto, this isn’t the first time that Garena announced next season’s details ahead of the official Call of Duty: Mobile social media outlets. In fact, the Singaporean gaming giant also did the same slip up last month with the Radioactive Agent.
The theme has also been revealed along with the next Call of Duty character crossing over the mobile platform. However, the image is no longer available on Garena’s Instagram profile.
Nevertheless, per the media outlet, Garena accidentally revealed the arrival of another CoD villain called Makarov. Accordingly, Makarov is a Russian villain from Modern Warfare 2 and 3.
Also, the theme for next season will reportedly be Apocalypse Day. However, the date on Morkov’s poster says July 11, so most probably, Morkov will arrive a day later.
Other Call of Duty: Mobile news
Meanwhile, Activision revealed last week about some thrilling announcement and it looks a new operator skill for next season.
According to CoDM’s official Facebook page, the new operator skill is Katana. Players will have the opportunity to sport a samurai-like skill in a military-themed Multiplayer mode.
The operator skill description reads:
Swiftly kill enemies at close range, while also detecting hostiles within the shroud of any smoke grenade.
💨 Be swift…💥 aggressive, and then…🗡💀 STRIKE!🆕 New Operator Skill, Katana coming as a part of the next season in #CODMobile!

Meanwhile, the Modern Warfare 2 map called Highrise is reportedly coming to the game some time this week, per Gamespot. Activision has teased the arrival of this well-loved map.
What players would like to know is if the tricks doable on this map can also be done on the mobile platform. As of this writing, none of the social media accounts of Call of Duty: Mobile have updated any season 8 poster, following Garena’s slip up.
