George Clooney, Amal’s ongoing LA mansion renovation ‘upsetting’ their neighbors

George Clooney and Amal Clooney are, reportedly, having their multimillion-dollar mansion in Los Angeles renovated.

According to The Sun, George Clooney and Amal’s neighbors are complaining due to the noise caused by the ongoing renovations.

The upgrade on the couple’s mansion has been ongoing for the past two months. But the proposed timeline to complete the renovation is eight months. This means that the couple’s neighbors still have to endure the noise for six months.

Photographers of the publication shared photos of one of the three new buildings being built in George and Amal’s compound. One of the buildings will, reportedly, serve as a play cottage for their twins, Alexander and Ella.

An unnamed resident told The Sun that some of the neighbors are upset with the noise. And too many trucks, reportedly, come into the neighborhood in the morning.

“The workers and trucks park up and down the street and take up all the spaces in front of other people’s homes, so that’s annoying too.  It was worse before because there were cement mixer trucks coming and going and they made a lot of noise. But people are not too happy about the situation and are looking forward to the project being finished,” the source said.

According to reports, the cost of the renovation is estimated at $1 million. George Clooney, reportedly, spent over $33,000 just for the building permits alone.

George Clooney, Amal Clooney allegedly on a trial separation

Amid the ongoing upgrades to their mansion, there have also been rumors claiming that George and Amal have been leading separate lives. Earlier this year, Woman’s Day claimed that the couple couldn’t agree on where they should raise their children.

George, allegedly, wants to stay in Los Angeles because this is closer to his job in Hollywood. Amal, on the other hand, allegedly wants to relocate to England or Italy.

Couple’s busy schedule causing problems in their marriage?

The tabloid claimed that the couple’s busy schedule has also contributed to their decision to have a trial separation.

“Even then, you could tell things were tense between them. Amal seemed very focused on her job as a guest professor at Columbia University, whereas George was on his own path, socializing with his pals and leaving the kids to the nanny when their mom was at work. Neither of them seemed happy with the other,” the source said.

However, George Clooney and Amal are still very much together. They didn’t have a trial separation, and they will continue to live in the United States with their twins.
