George Clooney and Kelly Preston were once an item, and he considered their relationship “the most important thing” for him at the time.
George Clooney dated Kelly Preston before he met and married his now-wife, Amal Clooney. Here is a look back on their romance when they were still together.
George Clooney and Kelly Preston’s romance
According to Mirror, George Clooney and Kelly Preston met after her marriage with Kevin Gage broke down.
At the time, Clooney was starring in the sitcom, Roseanne, while Kelly was making waves in her hit films Twins and Space Camp
George and Kelly met when their agent invited them both to the same party. The Money Monster star gave her a lift on his Harley Davidson motorbike. She confessed that following the ride, she was “hooked.”
Shortly after that, the two moved in together. They were very much in love that Clooney said, “the most important thing in my life is my relationship with Kelly.”
George gave Kelly an unusual pet
George Clooney gave his then-girlfriend an unusual gift, a pot-bellied pig, and they named Max.
“The only thing was, Max was scared of me at first. I think it was because he was castrated by the woman who owned him,” Kelly shared.
George ended up with an awkward idea to make the pig bond with Kelly. The Ocean’s Eleven star confessed to putting food on Kelly’s bra so Max would get near her.
“Max wouldn’t get near her, so I put food in Kelly’s bra. He’ll do anything for food,” he said.
