George Clooney opened up about his twins with Amal Alamuddin, Ella and Alexander, in a rare moment and said they were scary.
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are very protective when it comes to their children’s privacy. However, there were rare instances when they talked about their children. Check out what they said about their kids.
George Clooney says his kids are ‘scary’
George Clooney has been very vocal about how he appreciates his wife, Amal Alamuddin’s smart mind. Amal is a human rights defense lawyer.
The Money Monster revealed that his kids inherited Amal’s smartness, and because of it, he finds them “scary.”
“The other day I caught my son — because my wife is very, very English, very British — my son said ‘zebra,’” he told Ellen DeGeneres while pronouncing the word with a short “e.”
“I’m gonna fix that though. That’s not gonna happen,” he said.
“Here’s the scary part because they obviously got my wife’s brains. They’re not quite two and they can count from one to 20 in English and Italian. I’m still trying to do the English part,” he added while laughing.
George and Amal’s kids have a sense of humor too
If the kids inherited Amal’s brain, Alexander and Ella inherited their dad’s sense of humor. The Batman star confessed that they already pulled pranks at home, and he was the victim.
“They do pranks already. Put peanut butter on their shoes, so that it looks like poo-poo on their shoes and stuff, and they think that’s funny,” George told Today in May 2019.
“I just have to clean the barf off of my tux. It used to be my barf but now it’s the twins’ barf,” he added.
Clearly, George’s kids have made him happier, even on set. Christoper Abbott, who starred in Catch-22, that George starred and directed called the latter “jokester.”
“I don’t know if he has one of those bones in his body,” Abbott said. “He can be a bit of a jokester a bit but it’s always fun.”
George never gets mad
Although his kids made fun of him, the celebrity dad was never mad. George Clooney said in a previous interview that life was too great for him to feel bad.
“I’m not mad at anything,” he told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his dramedy Catch-22. “I got a brilliant, beautiful wife, I got two knuckleheads for kids, life’s great.”
When asked about his twins on the same event, the Ocean’s Eleven made a hilarious response.
“They’re good. They’re fat!” he said. “To keep ’em quiet, you just feed ’em.”
