In Ghost of Tsushima, Jin can equip a selection of armors and outfits that will provide him with useful bonuses. As the supplies and resources in the game are very limited, players should prioritize the upgrades they get.
Getting Supplies in Ghost of Tsushima is not easy. Players will find themselves running out of supplies at the last upgrades of their gear. Here’s a list of the best armors we’ve found for Jin and why they should be prioritized in terms of upgrades.
Traveler’s Attire
The Traveler’s Attire is one of the first armors that Jin will get in the game. It provides bonuses for exploration. With it equipped, players can easily remove the fog of war in the map, thus revealing points of interest. It also notifies the player if a collectible is nearby.
That being said, the attire is perfect for players that are collectors. It’s also good for finding all of the points of interest in the game. It can provide players a good headstart on upgrades early on in the game.
Tadayori’s Armor
The Tale of Tadayori can be completed immediately once players have the half bow. The armor provides bonuses for long-ranged combat, and it’s very deadly when players get the longbow later on in the game.
If players prefer the stealth route, they should use Tadayori’s armor as it makes them more capable of taking out enemies from afar.
Gosaku’s Armor
In Ghost of Tsushima, the best armor when it comes to head-on combat is Gosaku’s Armor. It provides stagger bonuses as well as an increase in health. It doesn’t do much when it comes to stealth, but if players want to continue the game as a samurai, then this armor is a must.
It can be acquired by completing the “The Unbreakable Gosaku” Mythic tale.
Sakai Clan Armor
It should not be surprising that the Sakai Clan Armor is one of the best armors in the game. It provides bonuses to health and damage. The best perk is that it increases the number of enemies that players can kill during a standoff. The armor itself is pretty easy to get as it can be acquired through the main campaign.
These Ghost of Tsushima armors are the best under Jin’s disposal. Since there are no stats in the game, players should pick armors depending on their playstyle instead.
