‘Ghost of Tsushima’ easter egg pays tribute to multiple games

There are a lot of secrets in Ghost of Tsushima, and there might be some that players have yet to discover as well. One particular easter egg might delight gamers who have played other PlayStation exclusives.

Ghost of Tsushima is the last PlayStation 4 exclusive to hit the console. Before it, there were a lot of other great exclusives on the console, which defined why it was such an amazing console generation. To pay tribute to the exclusives, Sucker Punch Studios put in one easter egg for them all.

The ultimate easter egg

As spotted by DualShockers, the easter egg pays tribute to the noteworthy exclusives on the PlayStation 4. The tributes are actually papercraft representing the titles.

One is visibly a Tallneck, an enemy from Horizon Zero Dawn. There’s also a Lombax papercraft, which is a direct tribute to Ratchet and Clank. A larger and more visible figure represents the Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus. Of course, it wouldn’t be an exclusives tribute without The Last of Us 2. For this game, there’s a guitar papercraft.

Other tributes include a car for Gran Turismo, a motorcycle for Days Gone, an axe for God of War, a brush for  Concrete Genie, a Kojima logo for Death Stranding, a letter L for London Studio, a bat for MLB The Show, and an Imp for Dreams.

Players of Ghost of Tsushima will surely find it fun to figure out which game the papercraft pays tribute to. This is just one of the many brilliant easter eggs one can find in the game.

Where to find it?

It’s the best easter egg in the game, but it’s also the easiest to find. To find it, players will first need to finish the main story of the game. Once players assume the role of Jin as he stands from his home, the easter egg will be near.

All they need to do is look closely at the low table and check out the collection of Jin’s papercraft. There are a ton of secrets in the game, but this one is perhaps the best that players can uncover.

Ghost of Tsushima is filled with many secrets that players should try to discover. The world itself is already rich and beautiful. These tiny secrets scattered in between are extra bonuses that reward players for having a keen eye when it comes to easter eggs and other tiny details.
