Sucker Punch just launched Ghost of Tsushima Legends – the multiplayer component of the samurai epic they launched earlier this year. Now, dozens of players are exploring this Oni filled expansion of Ghost of Tsushima.
Like the base game, Ghost of Tsushima Legends is a challenging experience. It’s not enough for players to grind their way into the missions. They’ll need a set of skills as well. We’ve got a few tips that might help players take on the Oni in the game.
Choose Gifts wisely
Gifts are purchasable through shrines on the map. Before buying Gifts, players should carefully study how it can help them in what lies ahead. These special abilities can be purchased with Magatama. To get more Magatama, players should try to complete a map’s bonus objectives when they can.
Get to the high ground
The high ground will be advantageous to all of the legends. In Ghost of Tsushima Legends, there is no such thing as fall damage. As such, players should get to high areas as there won’t be any downsides to doing so. The high ground will let players see where the demons are. It will also make the Hunter harder to reach for some Onis.
Split up
As the hordes become thicker, players will have to split up. Unless necessary, players shouldn’t try to go solo. The best way to thin out multiple hordes is by going in pairs. Ideally, the Hunter and the Assassin should stay apart as they are the classes that will need support upfront from the Ronin and the Samurai.
Know your role
There are four classes in the game mode – Ronin, Assassin, Hunter, and Samurai. Each of the roles caters to a specific playstyle. As such, it’s important for players to find the role they are most comfortable with. Forcing themselves to play as another will make the missions much harder.
However, it’s worth noting that getting the proper know-how of each class is crucial as well. There will be times wherein players will need to adjust themselves for the sake of the team.
Ghost of Tsushima Legends is out now. This free multiplayer expansion adds a ton of new content to the game. It’s a great multiplayer experience, and players are happy that it’s free. Fans are hoping that there will be more missions released in the future, as it’s tough to put this game down.
