Ghost of Tsushima is shaping up to be a samurai epic that gamers have been longing for years now. We already have a release date for the game, and all that’s left to do is wait in anticipation.
Ghost of Tsushima will launch on July 17, almost a month after the launch of The Last of Us 2. Developed by Sucker Punch, the game is an open-world title that’s deeply inspired classic samurai films. Apart from a sleek combat system, the game also features stealth mechanics and more.
A lot of people are excited about this title, so it could be wise to pre-order the game as soon as possible. Here are its pre-order bonuses and its various editions.
Pre-order bonus
The game is tagged at $60. For pre-ordering the physical or digital editions, players will get a few bonuses. These bonuses include a Jin avatar, a mini soundtrack with songs from the game, and a dynamic PlayStation 4 theme based on the game’s box art.
It’s likely that retailers like GameStop and Walmart will have their exclusive pre-order bonuses set up for players should check these out as well.
Digital Deluxe Edition
The digital deluxe edition costs $70. It comes with all of the pre-order bonuses if applicable, and it comes with a few digital goodies for Ghost of Tsushima as well. First up, players will get a Hero of Tsushima skin set, which offers alternate skins for Jin. With it, players can change his horse, saddle, mask, armor, and sword.
Players will also have a slight advantage at the start of the game as it will come with a free technique point, as well as a Charm of Hachiman’s Favor.
Special Edition
The Special Edition for the game costs as much as the Digital Deluxe Edition. Pre-order bonuses will apply in this edition, but beyond that, there are a few other goodies as well. It will come with a special steelbook case for the game, as well as a voucher code for the Hero of Tsushima skins. It will also come with the Charm of Hachiman’s Favor and a technique point.
Collector’s Edition
For those who are willing to spend a little extra for the game, there’s a Collector’s Edition coming, and it costs $170. It’s quickly running out, so players should act as soon as possible.
It will come with everything included in the Special Edition as well as the pre-order bonuses. Aside from all of the digital content from the Digital Deluxe edition, there are quite a few physical goodies as well.
The crowning glory of this edition is the replica polyresin mask and stand; sadly, it’s not meant to be worn. There’s also a 48-page mini art book by Dark Horse, a cloth world map, a Sashimono war banner which is 4.5 feet long, and a Furoshiki wrapping cloth.
Ghost of Tsushima launches on July 17 for the PlayStation 4. Players need to act fast before this edition, and the game runs out.
