The live-stream of the said event dropped Goblin Slayer Season 2 promotional video and photo to tease fans of what they are about to see. These materials just hyped up the anime’s return as everyone is looking forward to seeing Goblin Slayer himself back in action.
Goblin Slayer Season 2’s promotional materials give fans a glimpse of their favorite character after Season 1 ended in 2018.
In the image, they see Goblin Slayer himself, along with Priestess, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and the Lizard Priest, in their full glory.
The short clip, on the other hand, gives some “spectacular shots of the main characters,” Epic Dope noted. However, it doesn’t shed light on how Goblin Slayer Season 2’s plot will be.
However, knowing how the series runs, there will be a new challenging path that they have to take, and they are all ready to do it.
Of course, there will also be some new faces in the series, like the Dark Elf and the Goblin King.
Goblin Slayer Season 2 may explore the story of the newly-added wizard boy who joined the guild.
His craving to hunt goblins turns to be a “cause of concern” for the Guild Girl herself. A Goblin Slayer group collaborates with the recruit to deal with the goblins in the old mausoleum.
However, it looks like their new adventure will result in huge trouble.
Goblin Slayer is originally a Japanese dark fantasy light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. It already has a total of 14 volumes, while the anime has adapted four volumes so far.
The movie, Goblin’s Crown, on the other hand, was based on Volume 5.
According to Comicbook, there is no official announcement when Goblin Slayer Season 2 will be officially out.
It looks like the new season’s team still has a lot of work to do before the show becomes officially ready to air.
However, there are predictions it will drop either in 2021 or early 2022. For fans who need to catch up on the series, they can stream the first season on Crunchyroll, which also features its movie.
This way, they can be prepared when Goblin Slayer Season 2 finally drops.
