God of War, our beloved video game, is getting a new upgrade for all the PS5 players so that they can enjoy the game in proper performance.
Since being released on platforms including PlayStation 4 in 2018, the narratively pulverizing and engrossing video, God of War, has earned countless appreciation from fans.

Not to be confused with 2005’s original God of War, the game has been an absolute fan favorite. It has even earned a spot in 20 free PS4 games, which are available to PS5 owners.
Now there is going to be a new feature added to the Norse armored-cap. Starting February 2, 2021, PS5 players of God of War can receive an optimized upgraded version of the game.
We can finally say that Kratos simply will not have looked better.
Developers at Santa Monica Studio have stated that they were working on the upgrade for a very long time now. They have said:
“Our team have been working on video and graphics that will help and enable players get the most of the peak performance of the game. The increased performance capabilities are the new updates for the gameplay. On February 2nd, our team will be releasing a new patch for the game. The free patch will replace the current video graphics mode option with a new default and upgraded setting. Now players will get the best of both performance and resolution in Ps5!”
The patch is all about enhanced performance experience
Developers at Santa Monica Studio have said that the patch is all about enhanced performance experience.
The new and free patch will offer a 60 FPS performance and full 4K resolution at 2160p. This new patch will intertwine both the game’s current performance and the new upgrade made by the team.
For all the next-gen gamers out there, you might have missed out on this one. It is advisable to download the free version immediately and start playing to know how good of a game it is.
God of War is currently available to PS4 and PS5. The latter is only available for the exclusive PS5 members. It is available for those who own a physical and digital version of the PS4 console game.
Those who are suspicious of the changes will have to select the Original Performance Experience.
It is completely equivalent to the PS4’s Favour Resolution model, which delivers a 4k Checkerboard Resolution that can be synced and downgraded to 30 fps.
