Google’s Pixel 4a is teased to launch later today, and its specifications have leaked online, leaving very little to the imagination. The renders confirm the design of Google’s next flagship phone, which was spotted briefly on their site.
Today, another poster was leaked, revealing the existence of a Pixel 4a 5G model and another smartphone. Reports confirm that the phone, together with the 4a, is Pixel 5, which will also come in 5G.
If the reports are to be accurate, the Pixel 5 will not be a highly-specced smartphone. Google is likely to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor, which is mostly found on mid-range devices.
Google has so far used Qualcomm’s top-end flagship chips on its premium smartphones. For example, it had Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 on Pixel 4.
Also, Google is going to make some design modifications with Pixel 5. Instead of thicker bezels on top and bottom, it will have a punch-hole camera on the front of the phone.
The Pixel 5 is said to have a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and reverse wireless charging support, as per rumors.
Separately, Google is set to launch its Pixel 4a later this day. Aimed at an affordable premium smartphone lineup, Google’s Pixel 4a will have a Snapdragon 730 and 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the phone will come in two variants, 64GB and 128GB. The phone is likely to be priced at $399 or approximately ₹29,000.
Popular tipster Ishan Agarwal shared the poster through his Twitter account. The image gives a glimpse of the prospective Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 smartphones.
According to Gizmochina, the smaller one on the left that has brushed metal is the Pixel 5. At the same time, the one on the right is said to be the image of the Pixel 4a 5G. Compared to the Pixel 4a, the 4a 5G device looks larger and can be seen sporting a colored powered button.
The Google Pixel 4a that is expected to launch today at a price of $349. It is expected to offer specs like a 5.81-inch OLED display with punch-hole design, 8-megapixel front camera, 12.2-megapixel rear camera, Snapdragon 730G chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and 3,140mAh battery.
