As Google wraps-up its Pixel phone line-up, the giant company seems to have accidentally posted the release of the Pixel 5.
According to 9TO5Google, one of its readers shared this news that Google will release the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 this October for pre-ordering. It was spotted on its blog, Google France, on its post, which was suddenly taken down after.
With the Pixel 4 that will be launched this coming August 20, it is no surprise that many people are looking for more and that the Pixel 4 is just as good as it is. Also, people are looking forward to its possible features like wireless charging or, perhaps, a water resistance phone.
The burden of expectations continues to build for the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 as to when it will be launched. Fortunately, the accidental post made by Google France blog relieved expectations.
Launch Date is in the first week of fall
According to Google France’s blog post, the pre-order date for both the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 will be on October 8, 2020. According to 9TO5Google, they have tried to get the side of Google to validate whether these dates are true, and the company is yet to respond.
Usually, around October every year, Google is hosting a hardware event, and the launch of these two devices will not be a surprise if the dates are correct. If these are true, then that would somehow beat the expectations of those who are speculating that there will be a delay in the release due to the pandemic.
The Pixel 5 comes with the latest OS, the Android 11. Meanwhile, the Pixel 4a runs on Android 10. The Pixel is known for launching phones with superior pictures. Since the Pixel 4a features most of the “basic” functionality, we can assume that the Pixel 5 will be the answer for those hoping for a “bit” more features.
Photography at its finest
The Pixel 5 phone is rumored to focus on photography by wearing more lenses. If that’s the case, the Pixel 5 will not join the battle for the toughest processors of Samsung and Apple. It seems like Google is taking another route, and that is maintaining its reputation for quality photos.
Thanks to Google’s software that provides superior photos, its computational photography.
Will Google’s Pixel 5 be the latest phone that phone photography enthusiasts are waiting for?
October 8 of this year will be a full-packed event for Google as there is a possibility of launching its latest Android TV dongle with leaks suggesting that button is programmable. And we might expect that Google will launch the replacement of it’s Google Home.
So it’s better to watch out this October.
