Pixel 5 and 4A 5G, a new Chromecast, and a new smart speaker – these are just a few of the devices we can expect from Google’s fall hardware event.
Google is expected to roll out new hardware anytime soon, including the most awaited Pixel 5. And judging by the hints, leaks and rumors, there will be a wide range of products about to be unveiled.
Google calls the event “Launch Night In with Google”, where they will unveil the most controversial Pixel 5 device. But we’ve also been told to expect multiple phones, as well as a new smart speaker and Chromecast device.
How to watch Google Event
Google announced earlier this month that it would hold a product event on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT. The event is being named “Launch Night In with Google.” It is the annual showcase of Made by Google hardware that the company introduces every fall.
Google has set up a web page for those people who want to stream the live event. Visit the website Launch Night In, and you can pass the time until the event kicks off by pounding out a tune on your keyboard. The Made by Google YouTube channel also has a place-holder video, which will presumably give way to a live stream.

Pixel 5 event: What to expect
As reported by The Verge, Google has already officially announced some of what we’ll see. The company will be showing us more about the new Pixel smartphones – the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G.
Aside from that, a new Chromecast and a Nest smart speaker will also be unveiled. We already know a lot about each of those products, thanks to typical pre-event leaks, rumors, and renders.
As for what the Pixel 5 will look like, Google itself has revealed a side profile of the device. Google Japan even tweeted an image of the mobile device and some details regarding the phone.
As per rumors, the Pixel 5 will feature a 6.0-inch flexible OLED display with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It will also offer a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. It will sport a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The device will have a fingerprint scanner and a dual-camera setup on the back. On the front, it will have an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Google Pixel 5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. In terms of battery life, it will boast a 4,080 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
