Iori and the rest of the gang will finally return to Grand Blue Dreaming after a month of hiatus.
Earlier last month, the manga creator Kenji Inoue announced he would go on a break due to a severe back problem. Now, the mangaka has finally recovered and will be back at work to continue Grand Blue Dreaming.
The return of Inoue and his manga
According to BlockToro, Inoue is now getting ready to publish the next issue of the Grand Blue Dreaming manga volume.
“Serialization will resume from issue 4 next month! 96% guaranteed!!!” an English-translated tweet read.
The tweet comes with a visual of Iori, Kouhei, Shinji, and Ryuujirou celebrating the news. Their fists are all up in the air while they all look pumped up with the announcement.
The manga’s last release was Chapter 65, titled “Day Two of Chaos,” which featured Iori and Busujima’s sweet kiss.
The smooch seemed to show what Busujima really felt toward Iori and what would happen next might be seen in Grand Blue Dreaming Chapter 66.
If there’s one thing that fans look forward to, it is Chisa’s reaction to it. Readers also want the new chapter to focus mostly on her and her thoughts.
However, no one wants Inoue to rush on it yet. After his recent recovery, fans do not want him to get sick again.

Manga’s return date, official synopsis, and more
Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine revealed Grand Blue Dreaming’s return on its April issue, which will ship on March 4.
In the manga’s digital release, Kodansha Comics describes its story about the college life of Iori, per Anime News Network.
“After moving out on his own to a seaside town, Iori Kitahara makes a college debut he never anticipated,” the synopsis read. “A new chapter of his life unfolds, full of diving with beautiful girls and shenanigans with a gaggle of lovable bastards!”
The manga also introduced Kenji, an alleged expert in knowing the stupid persons, and Kimitake, an au naturel authority. These two will give Iori a “glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!”
Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka launched the manga in Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine in April 2014. Crunchyroll also releases the series in Japan, while it also has an anime adaptation that started in July 2018.
Grand Blue Dreaming episodes are also airing on Amazon Prime Video, and it streams worldwide as it airs in the Land of the Rising Sun. It also has a live-action movie, which dropped in August last year in Japan.
