Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will start shooting soon. However, it looks like Bradley Cooper will not return to the MCU film.
The cast list of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 could be missing a major name. This is if reports that MCU dropped Bradley Cooper from the movie are true.
It looks like Cooper’s availability is one of the biggest reasons for his removal. However, the A-list actor is currently in negotiations with Marvel Studios to reach a compromise.
Cooper played the genetically-engineered raccoon Rocket in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies. He eventually became one of the most important members of the group. The character even had an integral role in Avengers: Infinity War.
What might happen in Guardians of the Galaxy 3?
At this point, fans have little idea about what will happen in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Production of the movie stalled for a few years after director James Gunn’s status hung in the balance.
The movie was supposed to come out this year but got delayed because of behind-the-scenes drama, according to a report. Now, director James Gunn is back and is in the final stages of writing the movie.
So far, almost all of the cast members have confirmed their return to the third movie. This includes Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff.

How will the third movie connect with the MCU?
As more MCU movies coming out, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is becoming more complicated. Fans are curious about how Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 connects with the other films in the superhero franchise.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 will be part of the MCU’s Phase 4 expansion, according to a write-up. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) joined the Guardians. It remains to be seen if the Asgardian hero will still be in the third movie.
Vin Diesel also previously confirmed that some Guardians cast members will appear on Thor: Love and Thunder. It is unknown yet as to how this will all play out on the screen.
Next Bradley Cooper movies
Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 is not the only project that will keep Bradley Cooper busy. The actor recently branched out into directing and producing movies.
Last year, Cooper was busy with two superhero movie projects. He reprised his voice role as Rocket on Avengers: Endgame. He also served as an executive producer on Joker.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will be in theaters on Friday, August 06, 2021. Nightmare Alley, on the other hand, will be released in late 2021.
